"Syntetiske Pinakotek" is an ongoing research project initiated in late 2022 that explores the assumption that a painter has, at some point, been in direct contact with what they depict in their work. I am interested in examining the physical context of the painter in relation to their representations. I believe this reflection holds particular relevance in an era marked by the extensive consumption of images, photographs, screens, and the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which is accelerating our interactions with the virtualization and construction of digital images.
"Syntetiske Pinakotek" is a project through which I propose to immerse myself, approaching it from a painter's perspective, in the process of automatic image generation through Artificial Intelligence (AI).
